What my voting record shows

My full voting record is public and available at legislature.idaho.gov. Nearly 90% of my votes align with the Republican majority in the House. But a voting record is more than a checklist — effectiveness, constitutionality, fiscal impact, and real-world consequences all matter. Here is what my record actually shows.

TAXES & AFFORDABILITY

I have consistently voted to reduce the tax burden on Idaho families. Since 2023, my votes have helped cut property, grocery, and income taxes. I also supported President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, which eliminates taxes on overtime and tips, expands the child tax credit, and provides relief for seniors. To accommodate these reductions, we made more than $250 million in cuts to the 2026 and 2027 budgets. Fiscal responsibility and affordability go hand in hand.

PROPERTY INSURANCE & FIRE SAFETY

Insurance rates have risen sharply across north Idaho, and the threat of large wildfires has grown with them. I have carried legislation — including HB208 and HB562a — to improve fire district efficiency and directly address the surge in fire insurance non- renewals in our area. Better fire suppression means better ratings, and better ratings mean lower premiums for homeowners.

WOMEN’S SAFETY

Contrary to recent claims, I have voted twice in 2026 — on HB607 and HB752 — to keep men out of women’s restrooms and private spaces. My record on protecting women and children is clear.

RURAL HEALTHCARE

Access to quality healthcare in rural Idaho is one of the most pressing issues facing our communities. I carried SB1184 to give doctors clearer legal guidance, improving patient outcomes. I also supported SB1453, which creates a meaningful opportunity to invest in our rural hospitals over the next several years. I will fight to ensure our local providers and communities receive the support they have earned.

LAW ENFORCEMENT & IMMIGRATION

I have consistently funded our law enforcement agencies and supported their efforts to combat human trafficking and drug trafficking (SB1435, 2024). I voted for E-Verify (HB704) to enforce immigration law at the workplace. I am proud to have earned the trust and endorsement of our law enforcement community.

EDUCATION

In four years, I have supported our public school districts, charter schools, online schools, and homeschooling families. Idaho is one of the strongest school choice states in the nation, and I intend to keep it that way.

My campaign is supported by constituents and organizations who want principled, effective representation — support that was earned, not bought.

Four years of showing up, listening, and getting things done. No one will work harder for District 1.
